Overview

Accessing or making changes to system files is not supported by (mt) Media Temple. Please make a backup before changing any of your configuration files. For further clarification regarding our scope of support, please consult our website.

Symptom

You are unable retrieve the license key and receiving the following error: 

"Licensing Server Unreachable: Unable to connect with licensing server"

Resolution

With strict IPTable Rules, the server does not allow traffic to and from the Plesk licensing server.
