Overview

It's possible you may get an error message in Plesk with the following message: 

The file auth.php3 is part of Plesk distribution. It cannot be run outside of Plesk environment.

Solution

Take the following steps in Plesk:

  1. Click on Virtuozzo.
  2. Click on System Services.
  3. Click on psa.
  4. Click Restart Service.

After this, your Plesk panel should be restored. To restore the top banner, you may need to logout and log back into Plesk, or you may reload just that frame.
