If, when attempting to import a database in phpMyAdmin, you experience the following error:

import.php: Missing parameter: import_type (FAQ 2.
import.php: Missing parameter: format (FAQ 2. 

OR

export.php: Missing parameter: import_type (FAQ 2.
export.php: Missing parameter: format (FAQ 2.

This is the path to the affected file on the (dv) Dedicated-Virtual Server:

/usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/domains/databases/phpMyAdmin/libraries

To apply the fix, log in to your server via SSH as a "root" user and run the following commands:

  1. Change directories into the folder with the affected file.
    cd /usr/local/psa/admin/htdocs/domains/databases/phpMyAdmin/libraries
  2. Move the old file as a backup.
    mv session.inc.php session.inc.php-old
  3. Download the fixed file.
    wget http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Autoupdate/Windows/8.1.1.2/120220/session.inc.php
  4. Restart Plesk
    /etc/init.d/psa restart
