Results

After following this article, the user will have an understanding of how to perform Plesk Micro-Updates when needed.

Requirements

Please perform the following before beginning.

Instructions

Make sure to check the status of named on your server before following the instructions. If you don't, your server will be in limbo until you make the necessary repairs.

1. Using SSH, log into your server as the root user. For more information, please read this article: (dv):SSH connection.

2. Verify the permissions of named. If you can't or don't know how to, run the command:

/usr/local/mt/bin/mib --enablenamed --apply

3. Type up and press enter.

The process is automated. If you're here because you got an error with named while running up, read on.

4. Enter each command separately:

/usr/local/mt/bin/mib --enablenamed --apply
/usr/local/psa/bootstrapper/pp10.10.1-bootstrapper/bootstrapper.sh repair

Wait until the process is fully complete. It may seem like it is hanging at several parts.

5. Now, type up and press enter. The update process should complete as normal.

If you had named disabled before running the Plesk Micro-Updates, remember to re-disable it. You can follow either read this article or just run this command:

/usr/local/mt/bin/mib --disablenamed --apply
