Email aliases are a great way to forward messages to different email addresses. However, there are times when a person wants to forward a message to a different email address, but also leave a copy in their inbox. This is a very easy task to accomplish.

Requirements

You must already have an existing email user with its own mailbox. If you have not already created it, please first add the email user.

Instructions

  1. Sign into the AccountCenter.
  2. Choose your primary domain.
  3. Choose the "Email Aliases" button.
  4. Click the "Add new email alias" button.
  5. Fill out the "email alias address" with your proper email user and domain name.
  6. Choose your same email address from the "local email address" menu.
  7. Fill out the "external email address" field with whatever addresses you want to use. See Figure 1:
Figure 1: Screenshot with highlights of the fields that need to be completed.

  8. Press save.
  9. You are done!
